ABBYY Aligner licence limits the amount of data you can export into TMX and RTF. The amount is calculated in lines* (often called Translation Units).
When you choose to export your aligned data to TMX or RTF, ABBYY Aligner calculates the number of lines in the aligned text and subtracts it from the total number of lines which the licence allows you to export. Once you have used up you line limit, export to TMX and RTF is impossible.
Counting notes:
*The term “line” in ABBYY Aligner is used to mean a Translation Unit - an element of aligned parallel text which consists of a fragment of a source text paired with the matching fragment of the translation text.
