ABBYY Business Card Reader Free for iPhone

The free trial version of ABBYY Business Card Reader 4.0 for the iPhone allows users to preview recognition results on the device’s display, save the full name and first detected phone number to the address book, and upload up to 3 images of business cards to CardHolder. The trial also supports the look-up of relevant information about the contact in Facebook.

The free version of ABBYY Business Card Reader demonstrates product capabilities while imposing some functionality limitations:

All data in the business card will be recognized but you will be able to save only contact's full name and first detected phone number
The search across the social networks will be limited to Facebook
You will be able to save only 3 business cards

Major features:

When the user attempts to save the data, the application displays a warning message saying that the full version is required in order to save all the data.
The warning message also includes a “Buy” button. The user may buy the full version of the application by clicking on this button.
When the user clicks “Buy,” the application charges the user’s Apple AppStore account and if the transaction is successful, the application is upgraded to the full version.
