ABBYY PDF to Word Converter is a special, time limited offer for all Facebook® users working with PDF documents. As a freeware, the application performs one, but essential and very popular task — conversion of PDF files into editable Microsoft® Word documents. Through integration with ABBYY FineReader Online, a cloud–based Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and document conversion service, it offers a great opportunity for Facebook users to try out and benefit from the award-wining ABBYY OCR technology.

ABBYY PDF to Word Converter has a simple and intuitive interface that allows Facebook users to quickly upload PDF files, including scanned images, to the ABBYY OCR service for conversion and get back editable, ready-to-use text. When processing PDF files, it delivers highly accurate text recognition results for 10 languages including popular European languages and Chinese. With its ability to accurately re-create formatting attributes (e.g. headings, bulleted and numbered lists, columns, and tables) and original layout of documents, users can effectively work with various document types including brochures, magazines, books, contracts, reports, timetables and more.

Any Facebook user can upload and convert 10 documents per month free of charge (up to 10 pages and 5 MB each). When more languages, more supported formats and functionality is required, you can quickly switch to using the ABBYY FineReader Online service or one of the desktop versions of ABBYY’s document conversion software such as PDF Transformer and FineReader.
