Business Card Recognition

Now users can easily scan and extract information from multiple business cards with no additional software or devices.

With ABBYY Embedded Business Card Recognition functionality, users simply scan business cards on the MFP flatbed. The MFP detects the business cards and suggests a format and destination for approval, such as:

• export format: vCard
• destination: user’s email

After approval, the MFP automatically splits the scanned image into individual cards, extracts the information and saves it into named files, and then sends the files to your selected destination (your email, for example) for importing into Outlook.

Correct Business Card Scanning Position

Business cards should be positioned in a table or staggered order on the scanner flat bed.
