An intelligent automatic document classification algorithm uses an expandable library to remember different types of documents. The library can be pre-programmed by the company administrator during configuration then added to as circumstances dictate.
By remembering typical user actions and settings, such as image pre-processing type, export format and destination for result files, MFPs can automatically suggest actions designed to streamline the user experience.
For example, if a user previously saved an “Invoice” type document in “Searchable PDF” format and sent it to “accountant@domain.com”, the MFP will suggest these options the next time an Invoice is scanned in.
