Answer: This can happen if your scanner uses emulated driver. Very old scanner models, for which there are no genuine Intel Mac OS X drivers, are not supported.
Question: After scanning the program freezes and nothing happens.
Answer: When scanning is finished, you should close the scanning dialog manually. This dialog is not closed automatically. After you close the scanning dialog, recognition process should begin.
Question: Can I recognize document written in more than one language?
Answer: Yes, you can select up to 3 recognition languages at a time from the list of supported languages.
Question: Can I recognize several documents at a time?
Answer: Yes, in ABBYY FineReader Express Edition for Mac you can recognize several documents at once. During recognition they will be merged in one resulting file.
