ABBYY Lingvo 12

Important! This update is intended for the following applications:

  • ABBYY Lingvo 12 English Russian (build 12.0.0.351)
  • ABBYY Lingvo 12 European (build 12.0.0.355)
  • ABBYY Lingvo 12 Multilingual  (build 12.0.0.356)
  • ABBYY Lingvo 12 Three Languages (build 12.0.0.356)

This update corrects the following errors:

  • a certificate error message is displayed when installing the program
  • English sound files cannot be played under Symbian v.9.1
  • Management and Labour Economics Dictionary cannot be turned off (Management (En-Ru)
  • not more than 100 dictionaries can be connected
  • wrong order of dictionaries on the bookshelf
  • program malfunction when changing the translation direction
  • program malfunction when a large number of dictionaries is connected

To install the update:

  1. Download the file Lingvo12_Symbian_Update.zip (file size is 0.6 МB).
  2. Unzip the downloaded archive into C:\Program Files\ABBYY Lingvo 12\Symbian OS or into the folder where you chose to install ABBYY Lingvo.
  3. When you see a dialog box asking you if you really wish to replace the existing file with the new.
  4. Install the program on your smartphone as described in the instructions in the updated folder ...\ABBYY Lingvo 12\Symbian OS\SymbianOS_Russian.htm.
