PC requirements:

ABBYY Lingvo x3 Mobile Multilingual shoud be installed on the PC first and then installed onto the device from the PC.

Operating system:

Microsoft Windows Server® 2003 / Microsoft Windows® XP (SP2, SP3) / Microsoft® Windows Vista® (SP1) Home, Basic, Business, Ultimate / Windows 7

Software:

Microsoft® ActiveSync 4.5 for Windows 2000/XP/2003, Microsoft® Mobile Device Center for Windows Vista/7 (if the mobile device is based on Windows Mobile OS)

Nokia PC Suite, Nokia Ovi Suite etc (if the mobile deivice is based on Symbian OS)

Memory requirements:

Windows Mobile-based devices: 25-65 MB (main memory or memory cards) to store program files (program shell, system files) and for program operation

Symbian OS based devices: 1 MB (main memory) to store program files (program shell) and for program operation
10 – 150 MB to store dictionary files (main memory or memory cards)*
30 – 300 MB to store sound files (main memory or memory cards)*

*The required space depends on the amount of dictionaries and sound files you select to install

Dictionaries:
- One general dictionary requires about 3 to 11 MB of free memory space depending on the language
- One phrasebook requires about 75 KB of free memory space
- Learner’s and encyclopaedic dictionaries require 200 to 850 KB of free memory space
Sound files:
- The sound files for a general dictionary require 30 to 55 MB free memory space
- The sound files for one Phrasebook require 6 to 7 MB free memory space

Interface languages
ABBYY Lingvo x3 Mobile offers interface in 8 languages:
English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Russian and Ukrainian.
