Director of Solution Consulting (f/m/d)

Location: London or Remote within UK, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands

And we are looking for a Director of Solution Consulting (f/m/d) to join our dedicated international team of experts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the regional Solution Consulting team with oversight of our Go-To-Market process and workflow
  • Support ongoing growth and development including recruiting, hiring, training and mentoring
  • Coach the team towards attaining key performance metrics and goals
  • Train the Solutions Consulting team and business at large on what best in class looks like for the pre-sales process
  • Guide the team in understanding and honing client briefs, getting to the real ‘whys’ and needs behind their business questions
  • Track the team’s performance against OKR and developing solutions to optimize performance
  • Engage with customers/prospects in understanding their business goals, solution objectives
  • Build and conduct product demonstrations, solution workshops, due diligence studies with customers
  • Understand solutions in the ABBYY portfolio at a high level and be able to articulate and present the bigger picture
  • Contribute to industry/trade event participation, presentations, white papers, analyst briefings
  • Work closely with Field Sales and Product Management, engage and report to leadership team


  • Significant Enterprise software experience preferably in a leadership role
  • Experience managing and leading an international pre-sales team, planning and implementing process improvements
  • Exposure to commercial models understanding (e.g. cost break down sheets, business case analysis, TCO analysis, etc.)
  • A proven ability to work in a rapidly changing environment to help the team meet or exceed regional sales targets
  • Strong Digital Transformation Subject Matter Expertise with business acumen and an ability to manage strategic plans with partner and company executives
  • Deep experience in enterprise applications designing solutions, putting together value propositions, and building business cases
  • Ability to build a winning strategic plan, analyze complex situations and employ creative and effective decision making to solve problems/achieve results
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with cross-functional partners, at all corporate levels
  • Proficient in presentations (techniques like whiteboard, PPT, storytelling, etc.), written and verbal communication
  • Strong understanding of the Digital Transformation market and the growth opportunities
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects with clear business implications
  • Profound knowledge of English language, other languages of benefit
  • Readiness to travel up to 40% of the time (measured during pre-covid times), half of it internationally (depending on pandemic situation and regulations)
