We are looking for a true sales hunter who excels at generating new business to join our growing Solution Development team. Someone who possesses exceptional sales and customers relationship skills, ability to sell a variety of products in the ABBYY portfolio while providing an exceptional customer experience and meeting defined revenue targets.

What will you be doing? The Solution Development Representative (SDR) acts as an extension of the ABBYY Sales and Marketing organizations by generating qualified sales opportunities and contact discovery via targeted account development cold calling. This position also assists Account Execs (AE) with developing intro messages for line of business penetration, org chart identification, and collaborates to help determine best campaign tactics.
The SDR possess strong business acumen and the ability to quickly understand and apply the fundamentals of a prospect or customer’s business environment, organization, and strategy is essential to success in this role. In addition, the SDR possess the aptitude and or relevant sales or marketing experience to easily understand and articulate the business value of ABBYY products and solutions to C-level executives, line of business and IT professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops introductory messages for line of business penetration
  • Complete account research and development for proactive opportunity development
  • Research and qualifies leads, including org chart identification, to attain lead development quota
  • Develop and maintain relationships with account stakeholders while acquiring account intelligence to leverage in opportunity development calls and in collaboration with field sales
  • Collaborates with Account Executives to determine campaign tactics
  • Manages a high volume of proactive outbound prospecting calls to drive new customer acquisitions
  • Create and maintain CRM call notes and history in English
  • Provide field marketing event support
  • Travel up to 15%; 1 to 2 trips per quarter, averaging 2 to 3 days and travel may include international and domestic trips (in accordance to local Covid regulations)

  • Able to engage and build rapport over the phone
  • A good listener with the ability to record all gathered information
  • Persistent in their activities with an understanding of sales processes
  • Target orientated with a hunger for earning commission

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent degree and experience
  • 5+ years B2B telesales or business development targeting the C-suite
  • 3+ years’ experience with consultative/solution sales
  • 3+ years’ experience with pipeline management; both marketing and sales leads
  • 3+ years’ experience building and maintain profession relationships
  • Strong research and prospecting skills
  • Proven history of lead development
  • Experience effectively managing a large sales territory
  • Able to effectively balance and manage multiple concurrent business process
  • Able to utilize social selling techniques
  • Able to provide field marketing event support
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Advanced presentation skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Consistently overachieves
  • Advanced proficiency with CRM tools – preferably Salesforce.com
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite or similar tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Profound written and spoken English and German required, further languages of benefit
