As a Project Manager for Professional Services you will help to build/increase IDP customer satisfaction and related services’ revenue growth, through the technical engagement and enablement of our customers and partners. Your goal will be to ensure successful project management of ABBYY IDP solutions from scoping to delivery.

You will be responsible for comprehensive project management for the ABBYY products working in an agile international environment to coordinate project delivery, reporting into the Director of Professional Services. You will establish the link between business requirements and technical implementation by planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. You must have proven communication skills with the immediate ability to establish domain expertise with ABBYY customers and partners at any level, from executive to developer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a trusted technical advisor to customers
  • Determine and define project scope and objectives
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
  • Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
  • Track project costs in order to meet budget
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
  • Utilise industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
  • Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent training in computer science, business or a related field
  • 4+ years of project management and related experience
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • Strong familiarity with project management tools, methodologies and best practices
  • Strong ability to lead discussions and gain agreement on the method of implementing the solution for the customer by setting their expectations at the correct level
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life-cycle
  • Strong analytical skills, interpersonal skills, organisation skills and extremely resourceful
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget and timeline
  • Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
  • Ability to travel as required (minding the local Covid regulations)
  • Profound knowledge of German and English languages with ability to communicate complex business and technical topics 

Nice to have:

  • Project Management certification(s)
  • Experience in OCR, NLP and related technologies
  • Experience in Process Mining and Task Mining
  • Experience working across internal and external organizations, for complex mission-critical solutions
  • Strong ability to articulate complex value propositions in a clear, concise, and compelling manner
  • Prior knowledge and experience in ABBYY Products and technologies
  • Creativity and willingness to learn new technologies
