Responsibilities

• Investigate why the product works differently than expected
• Create and support HTTP API with versioning (C#)
• Improve high load distribution system (C++)
• Develop new features
• Refactor the legacy code
• Optimize C# code 
• Create unit and integration tests
• Support ABBYY Cloud Instances

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in C++ (Windows applications)
• 3+ years of experience in C#, .NET Core, APS .NET, Web API (Windows applications)
• Experience in HTTP API and understanding of REST / SOAP APIs and backward compatibility
• Experience in SQL Database (Postgres, Oracle will be bonus)
• Experience in Microsoft Azure
• Solid understanding of modern architectures of distributed application
• Ability to design a product subsystem, document it and argue your decision
• Have strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work with other engineers and testers, from your team as well as from the other teams, sometimes across multiple time-zones
