These are the system requirements for the ABBYY Vantage system.

Operating systems

  • Supported OS Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 or higher
  • Recommended OS Microsoft Windows Server 2016

Note: Only x64 platform architecture is supported.

Hardware requirements

Storage

A solid-state drive (SSD); no spinning disks

Memory

  • ABBYY Vantage server: at least 4 GB RAM
  • ABBYY Vantage Activity Server: at least 4 GB RAM, 4 cores
  • Single machine for Platform Server and Activity Server: at least 8 GB RAM, 4 cores
  • Database server: at least 4 GB RAM, 2 cores, optimized for I/O operations

Supported Database Server

  • Microsoft SQL Server Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 or higher
  • Recommended: Microsoft SQL Server 2016

Note: Express edition is not supported for production environment.
