Demand Generation Manager

Our Demand Generation Managers assume active participation in the development and execution of demand generation strategy for the North America enterprise market. This role takes the lead on planning, creating, implementing and executing comprehensive activities for marketing demand generation to drive awareness and pipeline for the ABBYY brand. The position covers a wide variety of marketing projects to support ABBYY’s corporate, product, and partner marketing objectives and products’ revenue plan targets. Channels include e-mail, web, online media, social media, microsites, tradeshows/events, and print. Content creation is a key part of major projects. The ability to estimate and argue the relevance of internal and third-party activities for ABBYY business targets is another key component of the opening.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, plan and implement as project manager dedicated demand generation activities aligned with ABBYY’s strategic business and brand objectives
  • Develop strategies to reach target audience and help deliver sales results through marketing projects/events success
  • Proactively, and in cooperation with internal stakeholders, define goals and objectives of all activities and position ABBYY and its products and solutions accordingly
  • Collaborate with relevant teams, e.g. Sales, Product Marketing, Corporate Marketing, and Technical staff to create relevant content and execute marketing activities with and above planned ROI
  • Research local and global events based on target industries and verticals, develop the optimal events and programs mix, and secure stakeholders buy-in on events plan.
  • Collaborate with 3rd party vendors and/or ABBYY Partners to secure event space, sponsorship opportunities, demo equipment, giveaways, creative requirements, support personnel, etc.
  • Take ownership of internal communication re demand generation activities
  • Be a key point of contact for Sales team to provide marketing support re available content and event calendar
  • Support demand generation initiatives such as customer meetings and local seminars with booth property structure, giveaways, etc.
  • Attend and execute related activities where appropriate. Ensure travel needs are met
  • Work to an established budget and closely track expenses
  • Consistently measure and quantify results, and incorporate learnings into future activities
  • Provide all relevant types of reporting
  • Some travel

Mandatory Skill Sets and Qualifications:

  • Requires a BS/BA degree in Marketing and/or Event Management, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in B2B marketing; in IT or Software industry preferred
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years’ experience in executing and optimizing campaigns in Marketo
  • Ability to effectively communicate with executive management
  • Flexible, innovative, able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Strategic thinker with superb attention to detail
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage inter-departmental and cross-functional efforts
  • Strong work ethic and people skills
  • Team player, who could contribute both personal targets and team/department ones
  • Advanced MS Office user
  • Well versed in event planning best practices, a plus
