Corporate Marketing Manager for Global Events

Our marketing team is growing and looking for a customer-oriented event planned to join us. As Corporate Marketing Manager for Global Events, you possess strong attention to detail and thrive when working on complex programs with multiple moving parts. You are responsible for the strategy, conception, planning, and delivery of ABBYY-hosted customer and partner events, and bring together a variety of stakeholder groups – from marketing and sales to senior executives. You are driving the event vision and ensuring that all components of an event come together to deliver superior experiences for ABBYY audiences. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize, plan and deliver company-hosted customer/partner events aligned with ABBYY’s strategic business and brand objectives. Define the event strategies, goals, and KPIs, target audiences for each event through alignment with executive stakeholders. Develop new ideas for improving the delivery of each event.
  • Build yearly event budgets and deliver projects within the budget scope.
  • Act as the central project manager for each event, from early-stage planning to post-event follow-up. Manage timelines, resources, and all aspects of event delivery.
  • Manage all event logistics from venue selection to production, catering, staffing, and technical. Collaborate and negotiate with 3rd party vendors and other external parties to secure the necessary resources to deliver successful event execution.
  • Design promotional strategies and collaborate with cross-functional marketing teams to drive event attendance.
  • Build ongoing communication processes and engage with relevant teams and stakeholders, at all levels: Sales, Corporate Marketing, Product Marketing, Design, Demand Generation, and Management. Ensure seamless internal communication about the event.
  • Consistently measure and quantify results, and incorporate learnings into future events.
  • Travel to major events including overseas.

Mandatory Skill Sets and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience;
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Event Management for B2B companies; IT or Software industry preferred;
  • Experience working in both local and international markets;
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple programs simultaneously and deliver projects on time, sometimes under strict deadlines. Ability to manage priorities and flexibility to adjust quickly to changing situations;
  • Ability to effectively communicate with executive management and multiple stakeholders;
  • Flexible, innovative, approach to work; able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strategic thinker with superb attention to detail;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Strong work ethic.
