Customer Operations Specialist (f/m/d)

Overall Purpose

The Customer Operations Specialist will own and drive the process of closing Support Maintenance Upgrade Assurance (SMUA) renewals for all aspects of ABBYY business. This role will have a strong emphasis on sales related activities such as calling customers and preparing quotes. There will also be administrative functions such as maintaining our database, correcting cloning issues and processing orders.

Responsibilities

  • Make daily calls to reseller and end user customers following-up on expired renewals, renewals expiring within 90, 60, and 30 days, and address questions and concerns
  • Make weekly calls to reseller and end user customers for collection of SMUA payments
  • Research and update reseller and end user customers contact information
  • Periodically review ABBYY databases ensuring all renewal opportunities captured
  • Forecast and review lost renewal opportunities
  • Maintain Salesforce.com records to ensure information is accurate to include but not limited to correcting cloning issues
  • Request and review quotes
  • Process orders and periodic account maintenance
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Relevant education or equivalent experience (software licensing renewal, renewal of services)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
  • Literate in MS Word, and MS Excel, Power Point
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.com
  • Ability to use initiative to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and interface with all levels of personnel
  • Must be self-motivated, organized with attention to detail, both sales and collection in nature
  • Ability to forecast accurately and review lost renewal opportunities
  • Ability to work in fast pace environment, adapt to changes in business needs and work with little supervision
