Demand Generation Team Lead

What will I be doing? Our Demand Generation Team Lead manages a team of three Demand Generation Managers in the development and execution of demand generation strategy and implementation of Account Based Marketing for the North America market. You work closely with the global department heads and other stakeholders to plan, create, implement, and execute comprehensive activities to drive awareness and pipeline for the ABBYY brand. With your team, you will manage several projects to support ABBYY’s corporate, product, and partner marketing objectives plus products’ revenue plan targets. Who will I report to? Head of Demand Generation

Where will I work? Our Milpitas, CA office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the central development of a consolidated marketing plan and strategy for driving business demand for North America
  • In collaboration with the Head of Demand Generation, develop yearly goals and KPIs
  • Identify, suggest, and participate in department activities including “on the job” training and other growth/development opportunities
  • Manage regional Demand generation team to achieve existing targets
  • Provide daily supervision of the regional marketing team including guidance on marketing plan development, guidance on marketing campaign development, tracking of work quality, spending overview and approvals
  • Track, evaluate, and report on marketing performance monthly, quarterly. Develop reports for quarterly marketing reviews. Report on performance to management teams and key stakeholders
  • Ensure team alignment with product marketing, corporate marketing, and public relations teams to build marketing strategies that align with our corporate and global strategies
  • Align with key sales leaders to ensure that marketing strategies help sales teams to reach their goals
  • Budget development, management and tracking for marketing expenses
  • Build and maintain processes for efficient marketing execution and communication including: processes for communication to key stakeholders, communication within the team, resource sharing, etc.

Mandatory Skill Sets and Qualifications:

  • Education & Certifications:
    • Requires a BS/BA degree, preferably in Marketing or Communications
  • Years of Experience:
    • Minimum 8 years’ experience in B2B marketing
    • Minimum 3 years’ managing or leading a team

Additional Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the North America market
  • Well versed in key marketing processes, disciplines, and best practices
  • Strong people management and team building skills
  • Expertise in channel marketing, ABM, digital marketing, social media, event management
  • Experience with marketing automation, customer relationship management, and other marketing tools
  • Flexible, innovative, able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Strategic and detail-oriented thinker
  • Strong and effective oral and written communication skills
  • Experience working cross-functionally and closely with leaders and executives to develop marketing processes, strategies and content requirements
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to track and report on campaign performance metrics
  • Possess an entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for creating a new program and driving adoption

Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage inter-departmental and cross-functional efforts
