ABBYY Cyprus, the Cyprus (Nicosia) based operating arm of ABBYY Group of companies, an international software vendor specializing in the field of Artificial Intelligence technologies with main emphasis on linguistic applications, document recognition & conversion, data capture & extraction, form processing and RPA enabling technologies, with a network of 13 international and regional offices worldwide, is now seeking to employ a Head of Accounting.

Working in a fast-paced team oriented and entrepreneurial global environment, the Head of Accounting will be responsible for the smooth operations of the accounting function and timely production of any related outcome requested by stakeholders for a number of companies based in Cyprus and/or being subsidiaries of Cyprus based companies.
Maintaining accounting records of Cyprus-based legal entities.
Preparation and submission of annual accounts and tax reports.
Active participation in the audit of financial statements under IFRS.
Performing monthly closing of management accounts.
Control over efficiency and effectiveness of accounting processes and related IT-systems for Cyprus-based legal entities.
Good knowledge of Cyprus tax and accounting requirements, IFRS.
Advanced user of accounting software (experience in 1C will be an advantage)
Advanced user of MS Excel.
English and Greek not lower than upper-intermediate.
No less than 2 years of experience in IFRS and tax accounting is mandatory (keeping accounting records, preparing financial statements, audit).
Timely and qualitative performing of monthly closing tasks.
Confirmation of fluent language skills.
Confirmation of sound knowledge of IFRS and Cyprus tax requirements.
Office in Nicosia
Working regime: 5 days per week, 38 hours per week
Salary, according to qualifications, previous experience and track record
