Internal Communications Assistant (f/m)
in part-time (20h/week)

Overall Purpose

We are looking for an Internal Communications Assistant (f/m) that will be responsible for the implementation of our internal communication programs, engagement and cultural activities in line with the company’s new strategy for ABBYY’s European office.

In this role, you will support the organisation in effectively communicating to a wide range of internal stakeholders a clear understanding of the company mission, strategy, objectives and core values. You will be an interface between Communication, Human Resources and Event Management.

The successful candidate will report to the Head of Internal Communications and CSR Group in Moscow and strive to be a true “people’s person”, with the ability to build great relationships at all levels within the organisation.


  • Supporting the company’s internal communications strategy, initiatives and research
  • Creating content and writing news articles for internal communication channels, as well as
    monitoring user activity in local Workplace community
  • Working closely with event managers and team assistants to organize internal events including
    planning and carrying out the logistics of internal communications activities and events that
    contribute to team member engagement
  • Assisting HR with key initiatives in Employer Branding on professional social media


  • University degree (BA/BS), or similar education (“Ausbildung’’)
  • Previous corporate work experience in a communication-focused role is a plus
  • Experience with social media such as Workplace, LinkedIn and Xing
  • Strong people skills, ability to communicate effectively to different internal stakeholders
  • Fluency both in English and German, good copywriting and copyediting skills
  • Proactive approach, ability to work on own initiative as well as within a team
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and complete tasks and projects efficiently
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work
  • Competent at MS Office
