(Junior) Marketing Executive (f/m/d), Web Content Projects and SEO

Overall Purpose

As a Marketing Executive at ABBYY, you will be part of the Website Content Project Management team, playing a key role in delivering the company’s message to customers and partners via the Web. You will be responsible for managing content projects and contribute to the optimization of the website content according to SEO best practices. You will work with a variety of stakeholders and collaborators across the organization as part of an international team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the launch of new website content to the websites by collecting business and technical requirements, managing timelines, and coordinating stakeholder input
  • Coordinate cross team communication from product marketing, to content, to design, to technical web teams to ensure that the project is progressing as planned and that key stakeholders are informed about the current project status and potential issues
  • Track web content projects from kick-off, to execution, to final delivery and adjust the timelines as needed
  • Support with ongoing, regular website content changes and updates
  • Together with the Head of Web Content Project Management, build an SEO content strategy for keeping the company websites present and relevant
  • Execute ongoing content SEO maintenance (write and update metadata, optimize image alt attributes, link optimization, etc.) to ensure SEO accuracy and consistency across the corporate language websites
  • Assist the content team in the creation of high quality, informative and SEO friendly web content and make recommendations on key terms, headlines, calls to actions, etc.
  • Assist in proofreading and reviewing website content
  • Work closely with the Technical Web and Technical SEO specialist teams to ensure that SEO best practices are properly implemented
  • Track and analyze performance data and create regular reports

Skills/Knowledge and Qualifications

  • University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent preferred
  • Proven experience working on website delivery for B2B businesses
  • Proven experience in SEO/content marketing and familiarity with SEO and analytics reporting tools
  • A passion for digital marketing and solid understanding of website optimization, ranking factors, SEO best practices, and SEO trends
  • Experience working with Website Content Management Systems and a basic understanding of HTML a plus
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, to handle multiple tasks at once, and to work under strict deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage and communicate with many stakeholders in multiple formats
  • Excellent English skills. Ability to speak German, French or other languages a plus
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
