Product Marketing Manager, SDK

What You’ll Be Doing

 

The Product Marketing Manager at ABBYY’s SDK Business Unit will grow market presence and drive demand to world-leading Software Development Toolkits for Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and document capture technology. The individual in this role will engage software developers and product leaders, educate them about the benefits of automatic capture technology, convert their interest into the sales opportunities and enable efficient sales tools to support winning the deals.

 

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for sharpening the product message, communicating value proposition to the prospect at each step of the buyer’s journey, planning and executing lead generation campaigns and measuring success of each marketing activity. Your strong communication and writing skills allow you to efficiently create collaterals such as blog-posts, whitepapers, presentations and website content. You are highly self-motivated, with business acumen and like to work in a global team.

Key Responsibilities

With a focus on the SDK product, you will research and analyze target market segments and buyer persona, and develop strong positioning and messaging that differentiate ABBYY’s strategy and products, while supporting brand awareness and thought leadership. You will communicate the ABBY SDK value by attending marketing events, trades shows, webinars, and customer meetings in addition to creating plus managing content assets for all stages of the technology buying process. This includes handling a social media presence, website content, webinars, and paper marketing materials among other promotions.

In collaboration with demand generation team plan, design, execute and measure marketing programs that create demand and convert it into sales opportunities. Set metrics, measure campaign effectiveness, optimize for best results, provide business insights and deliver regular campaign performance reports.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Mandatory skill sets, experience and qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Technology, Business, or Marketing
  • 5 years of B2B software marketing experience.
  • Proven record for marketing campaigns executed.
  • Former engineering background preferred
  • Proven written, oral communication, and content creation skills
  • Analytical and data interpretational skills
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, and cross-functional teams
  • Strong focus on the delivering results, making things happen
  • Strong desire to learn and grow professionally
  • Ability to communicate with technical audience – developers and product managers
  • Technical understanding and business acumen
  • Availability to travel internationally and present at public events
