Regional Marketing Executive, UK & France (f/m)

Overall Purpose

The ABBYY Europe regional marketing executive position reports to the Demand Generation Country Manager. The position is based in Munich, Germany.

Responsibilities are to create outbound marketing programs focused on selling ABBYY products in the UK and France Region. This person will manage a variety of integrated marketing programs – including lead generation, event planning, online marketing, and advertising.

The position requires regular communication with partners and international colleagues and the ability to maintain strong relationships with the relevant sales managers.


  • Develop and execute demand/lead generation strategy aligned with ABBYY’s strategic business and brand objectives in the particular region of responsibility (France and UK).
  • Research, develop, plan and implement offline demand gen campaigns, incl. manage ABBYY owned events as well as participation in third party conferences.
  • Research, develop, plan and implement online marketing demand gen campaigns, incl. content promotion, webinars, LPs creation etc.
  • Cooperate with partners to generate and execute co-marketing lead generation activities.
  • Track and analyze campaign results using marketing automation and CRM systems.
  • Proactive research of up-to-date demand generation practices and their implementation.
  • Tight cooperation with product marketing, sales, and PR teams to deliver results and meet MQL and SQL lead quota.
  • Budgeting and reporting


  • Experience in event planning and marketing communications. Completed training or studies or demonstrated experience and understanding of understanding key marketing concepts such as best practices in event marketing, website marketing and content, advertising, direct mail, etc.
  • English - fluent
  • French – upper-intermediate
  • Excellent communication skills. Ability to manage ongoing relationships with multiple business groups including sales team, understanding their changing needs and updating them on regional efforts, partners, marketing vendors, and other groups.
  • Strong attention to detail. Ability to work with a variety of technical details, look after a variety of details when managing events, identify mistakes and grammar issues with texts, as an example.
  • Good analytical skills
  • Ability to work well in an informal, fast-paced work environment
  • Proficiency with the following computer applications MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint. Basic understanding of Web content management, basic HTML concepts, Salesforce and other CRM systems, a plus.
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 3-5 times per year) and support trade show activity and partner meetings
