Your role a Sales Manager, you will serve as a primary point of contact for our customers and
prospects in Italy, Spain and Portugal. Your customers are independent software vendors (ISVs) and
hardware manufacturers (OEMs) with a constant need for new and innovative technology that enables
them to enter new markets. Your focus will be on understanding the customers’ business models and
needs, determining how our products can provide value for them and providing meaningful advice and

  • Defining and implementing a strategy for sales activities in Italy, Spain and Portugal
  • Identifying potential customers in new market segments for our ABBYY SDKs (Software Development Toolkit) products, applications and services
  • Prospecting, gaining access to and closing complex deals with independent software vendors (ISVs) and hardware manufacturers (OEMs)
  • Conducting commercial and technical presentations
  • Establishing and retaining strong customer relationships with new and existing customers


  • University degree in business studies or technology preferred
  • Experience in software sales, preferably in a B2B technical environment
  • Fluent Business Italian, Spanish and English
  • Energy, enthusiasm and creativity
  • Proactive attitude
  • Customer focused
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Results driven
  • Open to travel (20- 30%)
