Our Professional Services team works with Fortune 1000 customers to solver their business- critical problems using ABBYY’s world-class Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and Language based solutions. The Solutions Architect drives the successful implementation of these solutions through the design, configuration, and deployment of ABBYY products along with other third-party products as required. This role will quickly provide the opportunity to take overall project responsibility in leading both client interaction and system implementation. Key Responsibilities

The Solutions Architect will work with customers to enhance their business processes through the implementation and support of ABBYY products and solutions, and assist or drive the full project lifecycle, including project management, requirements gathering, functional design, installation, user acceptance testing, issue resolution and production implementation. The incumbent will articulate our product functionality and best practices to these clients. They will collaborate with other team members to perform the full technical configuration required for the deployment of our solutions, in addition to the client project team to ensure successful implementation of the solutions and to keep project on schedule and within budget. The Solutions Architect will drive the creation of internal best practices, methodologies, templates tools, utilities and processes for appropriate standardization of engagements and integrations, and function as the ABBYY expert t for our OCR and language based solutions plus industry best practices.

Mandatory Skill Sets and Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science or similar field of study, or technical/vocational school training equivalent.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a Professional Services Consultant role implementing projects with Fortune 1000 companies
  • Experience with and knowledge of OCR Data Capture products, Mobile applications and the ECM Industry
  • Ability to understand functional design and technical project requirements
  • Ability to work effectively in both a team environment and independently
  • Strong written, presentation and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet tight deadlines with a significant workload
  • Knowledge of software development, architecture, and customization
  • Ability to come up-to-speed quickly on new technologies
  • Experience leading customer meetings and presenting to high-level executives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent work standards and highly motivated
  • 40-50% travel

Technical Skills

  • Experience in developing with .NET framework using C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, etc.
  • Experience in application development
  • Experience with Databases      
  • Experience with Document Management Systems (DMS)
  • Experience working in the complete SDLC
  • Detailed knowledge of the latest Microsoft Desktop and Server platforms
  • Experience with object oriented design and component technologies a plus


  • Experience with Flexicapture or Kofax.
