1st Line Technical Support Specialist (SDK products)

We are currently looking for 1st Line Technical Support Specialist to work within our Global Support Team to help our customers with ABBYY SDK products.

Our software development kits allow developers from various international B2B companies to create applications that extract textual information from paper documents, images or displays.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide first level contact and response to customers' tickets based on known issues database
  • Follow up with customers, provide feedback and see problems through to resolution
  • Initial testing of incoming issues and prepare bug report of reproduced issues  
  • Properly prepare unresolved tickets to the next engineering level of support
  • Prepare new articles to knowledge base


  • Ability to read and debug customers' code on 2-3 modern programming languages (ex. C++, C#, Java, Python)
  • Understanding of different operation systems (Windows, Mac, Linux and Mobile)
  • Upper-intermediate level of English speaking and writing
  • At least Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Ability to learn and master employer-specific software
  • Strong client-facing and good communication skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • Complex problem solving
  • Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
