ABBYY, a leading provider of document recognition, data capture and linguistic technologies, solutions and services, will present trendsetting innovations for efficient information management with paper-based or digital documents at CeBIT 2015 in Hannover, Germany. From 16 to 20 March, ABBYY’s experts and three top class partners showcase a powerful portfolio of solutions and products around text recognition (OCR), document conversion and data capture at stand F18 in hall 3. Interested visitors will be presented not only professional ABBYY OCR and PDF software, but also solutions for automated invoice processing, digital mailroom, digital archiving, and server-based document management. Software developers and users of ABBYY’s software development kits (SDKs) will be able to learn more about innovations in Mobile and Cloud, as well as enhanced functionalities in the latest SDK versions.

“If you want to succeed in our interconnected world, you have to be able to find new information promptly and use it intelligently. ABBYY enables companies to digitally process high amounts of incoming data from documents, forms, and invoices – fast and efficiently. Thus, captured information can be used in a prompt and targeted manner,” says Bodo Wagener, Vice President of Sales and Services, ABBYY Europe. “ABBYY solutions can be a key success factor for a productive flow of information, and optimising business processes.”

At the stand, ABBYY will present ready-to-run solutions, based on the newest version of the data capture platform ABBYY FlexiCapture, for the automation of two central business processes – digital mailroom and invoice processing. ABBYY FlexiCapture for Mailrooms allows companies to automatically capture, classify and forward their entire customer communication from different channels, such as paper, fax or e-mail, upon arrival. The new, business-ready solution ABBYY FlexiCapture for Invoices enables automated data capture from electronic or paper-based invoices, including line item extraction, in a single workflow plus their digital passing on to an accounting system. The solution allows invoice verification in accordance with country-specific rules, and supports the processing of modern electronic invoice formats side by side with paper invoices in one stream. ABBYY partners will also be on the stand to show how solutions for digital mailroom and automated invoice processing can be expanded to an all-in-one process via intelligent integration with existing IT systems and workflows.

For companies and public organisations that need to convert large quantities of documents into searchable formats or archive them efficiently and server-based, ABBYY Recognition Server offers new possibilities – from digitisation of paper archives to enhanced integration with Microsoft SharePoint.

ABBYY also allows data capture through mobile devices. This topic will be discussed by Peter Panitz, ABBYY Sales Director DACH, in the BITKOM Panel Discussion “Mobile Capture – disruptive technology or fleeting hype?” on Thursday, March 19 2015, from 10 a.m. till 10.30 a.m. in hall 4, stand A58.

Developers, who wish to integrate powerful OCR, data capture and document conversion technologies into their own programmes and applications by using ABBYY Software Development Kits, can consult experts at the stand. They will discuss trends and topics such as text recognition and document imaging for mobile apps, OCR processing in the Cloud, or the special scenario of automated data extraction from receipts. The enhanced functionalities in the latest versions of ABBYY FineReader Engine and ABBYY FlexiCapture Engine will also be presented.

Those, who work with PDF documents regularly and wish to gain more productivity in working with them, are invited to come see ABBYY PDF Transformer+ at CeBIT. The versatile PDF tool offers essential features for creating, editing, commenting, discussing, saving, converting, and reading PDF documents. ABBYY FineReader, the award-winning text recognition software for a fast and easy conversion of scans and PDFs into editable and searchable formats, is also showcased at the stand.

All interested visitors and journalists are invited to see live demos and talk to ABBYY’s experts and partners at CeBIT, from 16 to 20 March 2015, stand F18 in hall 3.
