Developing the potential of its Lingvo dictionary software products on local markets, ABBYY has launched a new version designed specifically for the Kazakh users. The Kazakh version is a unique solution that offers modern and comprehensive dictionaries for translating words and phrases from Kazakh to Russian and back, including dictionaries of economic terminology and business phrasebooks. It is i ntroduced to the Kazakh market in two editions – ABBYY Lingvo x3 Kazakh Three Languages (Kazakh, Russian and English) and ABBYY Lingvo x3 Kazakh Multilingual that contains dictionaries for 12 languages.

Its powerful word look-up capability includes a variety of options – from “instant” translation via a pop-up dialogue to advanced full-text search which allows users to find all information on a given word or phrase available in Lingvo resources and Internet. It also offers useful tool for memorizing words, Lingvo Tutor, along with a special Kazakh learners’ dictionary. For user convenience, the application is equipped with virtual Kazakh keyboard.
