ABBYY offers simple and flexible licensing options to fit the requirements of any organization – from small businesses to large corporations, as well as institutions in the education and government sectors.
Ideal for organizations of any size with decentralized or LAN networks. This license type allows the installation and use of one copy of the software on one particular workstation (licensing per workstation). It supports roll-out installation with single licence key.
This license type supports different types of activation:
Manual activation – on each workstation via the internet
“Silent” activation – a process started without user interaction at every start of the software on the workstation, unless the software was already activated.
Server activation – using the Licence Manager tool licences can be activated on the local server when the workstations on which the software is installed have no connection to the Internet.
Volume Licenses Concurrent (Network)
Ideal for small- to mid-sized businesses or workgroups within an organization using LAN. Concurrent licenses support roll-out installation with single licence key and can be installed on an unlimited number of workstations, but the number of simultaneous users is limited to the number of licenses purchased. Using the License Manager tool licenses can be activated on the local server when the workstations on which the software is installed have no connection to the Internet. With the help of the Licence Manager licences can be permanently assigned to heavy users of the software or license pools can be created where a number of licenses can be reserved for different workgroups within the organization.
Volume Licenses Terminal Server
Ideal for organizations of any size using terminal services to provide remote access to applications for multiple users. Each license allows you to install the software on a terminal server and provide remote access to as many named users as the number of licences purchased.
Ideal for organizations and institutions with high network security levels, where the workstations have no access to the Internet for license activation. This license type allows the installation and use of one copy of the software on one particular workstation (licensing per workstation). It supports roll-out installation with single license key.
