ABBYY is the first Russian company to become a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Software Products
ABBYY, one of the world’s leading developers of OCR and natural language processing software, has become the first Russian company to be named as a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Software Products. This status recognizes the excellent quality of ABBYY products and their full compliance with the most stringent standards. In total, there are currently seventeen Microsoft Gold Partners in Russia.
To be named a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, a company’s products must undergo testing by independent experts. The key qualities to be displayed by the candidate product are high quality and full compatibility with Microsoft software. ABBYY’s Optical Character Recognition program, ABBYY FineReader, passed the tests with flying colours and in July 2003 ABBYY was named a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner.
“We have been working with Microsoft for a long time and have been their certified partners since 1999,” says Nastasya Savina, head of ABBYY’s Information, Advertising and PR Service. “Our new status of Microsoft Gold Partner is further recognition of the excellent quality of our software products.”
