Low Requirements for Computing Resources
The OCR SDK for Embedded OS is optimized to work with strictly limited computing resources, including small memory size and low-power processors. It can be integrated into MFP and other imaging devices, various portable devices such as scanning pens, automated mail processing systems and more.
Memory requirements:
- 2-2.5 MB for library;
- 0.5-1 MB for dictionaries of each used recognition language;
- 1-10 MB or more for program operation (depending on the image size, colority and quality: 1-5 MB for small photo pictures, about 10 MB for A4 sized business letter).

Integration into Virtually Any Platform

Extensive Language Support
The OCR SDK for Embedded Systems delivers recognition of documents in 60 languages and provides dictionary support for 23 languages.
