The ABBYY Vantage Sick Note document skill extracts data from sick notes issued in Germany, Belgium and Netherlands. A sick note is a document issued by a medical institution and serves as grounds for an employee's sick leave. Data extracted from the sick note includes patient name, attending specialist, the patient's insurance company, the start and end dates of the patient's sick leave, and whether the injury/illness is work-related.

The Sick Note skill is a preview skill. It has been trained on a small document set and is intended to be used by citizen developers as a quick-start basis for processing sick notes. The skill may require further training on your specific documents in order to be used in production scenarios.
