A determination letter is a formal document issued by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) that indicates whether or not a company meets the minimum legal requirements for special tax treatment.

This document skill has been trained on a small set of documents and demonstrates the capabilities of the Vantage platform when processing determination letters. It requires further training in order to be used in production scenarios. The skill is capable of extracting key data such as date, employer identification number (EIN), accounting period, public charity status, effective date of exemption, etc.
