The Lease Agreement (US) document skill for ABBYY Vantage extracts data from US lease agreements. A lease agreement is a legal document that sets out the rental terms for either a commercial or residential property between the property owner, also known as a landlord, and the renter, also known as a tenant.
The Lease Agreement (US) skill is a preview skill. The most important data fields are defined and labeled and the model has been trained on a small document set may require further training on your specific documents in order to be used in production scenarios. It is intended to be used by citizen developers as a quick-start basis for processing lease agreements - to label additional required fields, for further training the skill in the Vantage Advanced Designer based on incoming documents, or to adjust business rules to their own requirements. This skill uses the advanced machine learning capabilities of Vantage including NLP to locate paragraph segments, and extract entities using NER. The skill can be used as a starting point to a more advanced skill that user might want to create, or this skill can be an excellent way to learn about how to use some of the more advanced features in the Vantage Advanced Designer.
Benefits
- Vantage document skills are extraction models, based on ABBYY's purpose-built AI, designed and trained to extract key data from business documents.
- Preview document skills provide a quick-start basis for conducting proof of concept and automating document-centric processes, without wasting time to train a new skill from the ground up. In most preview skills the main data fields have been labeled and the skill has been trained on a small document set to provide a starting point for further training on customer side. Preview skills generally come at no additional cost, but consume page volume from the base Vantage Core Skills volume.
- The AI model automatically detects key fields on lease agreements and extracts relevant data (report date, borrower name and SSN, co-borrower name and SSN, credit score and credit history, bureau source code etc.). For a full list of extracted fields, please see the skill documentation.
- This skill uses the advanced machine learning capabilities of Vantage including natural language processing (NLP) to locate paragraph segments, and extract entities using NER. Extracted data includes landlord name, tenant name, agreement date, premises address, initial term, renewal term etc. For a full list of extracted fields, please see the skill documentation.
- Business rules for data validation can be added as required.
- Can be augmented by human-in-the-loop review and verification based on accuracy thresholds, missing or incorrect information.
- Requires further training in order to ensure sufficient accuracy levels on customer-specific documents. Training can be done up-front or during runtime as documents arrive and go through manual verification.
