Each customer requires a Manufacturing Record Book (MRB) as a deliverable. Every customer has a unique MRB template, requiring manufacturers to manually compile these data, leading to a time-consuming, error prone process that cause inefficiencies and delays.
Solution Highlight: The challenge was addressed through a pilot initiative that automated the creation of the MRB structure using the customer provided template. The system also generated the MRB coversheet automatically, saving several days of manual effort. The pilot utilized ABBYY Vantage and Alfresco ECM, but the approach is adaptable to any standard ECM.

1. No need to manually convert customer provided index page(s) to an intermediate format and then to manually add the customer provided coversheet to the generated MRB. Thirty minutes to an hour of manual effort is saved on average per coversheet received.

3. ABBYY Vantage is a SaaS product with low PPU license fees. No need to provision hardware/servers etc.
