ABBYY USA to Present at AIIM info360 and ITEX 2011 Events
CEO Dean Tang to Discuss Mobile OCR, Mobile Data Capture Applications and Cloud Based Solutions
ABBYY®, a leading provider of document recognition, document capture, and linguistic technologies and services, will present at the data and document management’s premier industry events, AIIM info360 Conference and Expo and ITEX 2011 National Expo and Conference. Dean Tang, ABBYY USA’s CEO, will discuss some of the industry’s most critical topics, including mobile OCR, mobile data capture, and cloud computing. He will specifically examine the evolving landscape of mobile devices, and how OCR and capture technologies can be integrated into mobile applications to fuel new functionality and offer new services. He will also speak about the range of opportunities that cloud computing and on demand capture offer to enterprise managers, IT directors, Enterprise Content Management (ECM) vendors and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) integrators.
Tang will be speaking during three sessions at the AIIM info360 and ITEX 2011 events, including:
- Tuesday, March 22, at 11 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) during the ITEX 2011 session entitled “Integrate OCR & Capture Technology with Mobile Devices.” This session will provide resellers, original equipment manufacturers and other channel organizations with insight into how they can expand their offerings through mobile data capture technology.
- Tuesday, March 22, at 1:50 p.m. EDT at AIIM info360’s “Mobile Capture in a ‘Cloudy’ World,” discussing how mobile applications can interface with the cloud to expedite service delivery and streamline information flow.
- Wednesday, March 23, at 3:30 p.m. EDT at AIIM info360’s “So Many Acronyms, So Little Time: OCR, ECM, BPO,” where he will discuss the future of data capture services on the cloud.
In addition to Tang’s presentations, ABBYY USA is pleased to sponsor the Mobile Content Management track at AIIM info360. The program will address the challenges and solutions of enterprise mobility including platform selection, device evolution, cloud based solutions, and process change associated with mobile adoption.
AIIM info360 will be held between March 21 through March 24, and ITEX 2011 will be held March 22 through March 23. Both events are scheduled to take place at the Walter E.
