Implementation
February 28, 2013
This week we have a nice casy study to share with you. VIVID Interactive agency utilized ABBYY Cloud OCR SDK to recognize client’s business cards in their interactive solution for Volvo booth at Moscow International Automobile Salon 2012.
Here is what they said about the solution: "We turned the iPad into an all-mighty guest scanning superpower: you could order brochures & test-drives using just your business card which auto recognition, your Volvo owner's card, an RFID card or a barcode. And it was elegantly wrapped in a custom handmade oak casing, too."

“ABBYY Cloud OCR SDK was implemented in no time and met all our expectations. Business cards recognition works like a dream – fast, reliably, with only a few errors," said Denis Zeltser, creative director at VIVID Interactive. "There have been some business cards printed in various languages, and ABBYY solution’s processed them spotlessly.”
