Jennifer Vitale (Jen), a dynamic and creative force on our global marketing team, is a perfect example of how passion and expertise can come together to create meaningful impact. From managing high-profile partnerships to organizing engaging events, Jen’s journey at ABBYY showcases the power of adaptability, strategic thinking, and a passion for exploring new creative possibilities.
We recently had a chat with Jen to learn more about her background, what drew her to ABBYY, her experience so far, and what exciting projects she’s looking forward to working on this year.

Jen’s career began in the beverage industry, where she specialized in event sponsorships and sports partnerships. “I worked on organizing large-scale events and forming connections between brands and sports teams,” she explains. “This experience gave me a strong foundation in marketing and logistics, and I loved the creativity and strategy involved in bringing brands to life.”
As AI technology began to transform industries, Jen saw an opportunity to bring her skills into a new and evolving sector. “The potential of AI was impossible to ignore, and I was thrilled to join ABBYY, where I could apply my event and sponsorship expertise on a global scale,” she says. “It’s been rewarding to see how my background in connecting brands with events and teams has translated seamlessly into the world of intelligent automation and AI.”

For Jen, the most exciting part of her journey has been managing ABBYY’s partnership with Arsenal Women FC as their official intelligent automation partner. “It’s been a great experience to work with such an iconic team and bring ABBYY’s brand to life through meaningful projects,” she shares.
Some of the highlights of her work include the “Let’s Get Real” series, which offers fans a behind-the-scenes look at the women behind the pitch, and organizing the 2024 AI Summit at Emirates Stadium. “The summit was a success, and we even surprised attendees with a men’s team practice session,” Jen recalls. “Another memorable moment was hosting a workshop with Arsenal and a local school council, where we introduced students to AI careers and showed them how to train an AI model. These initiatives have been fulfilling, as they allow us to connect with the community and showcase the intersection of sports and technology.”

Jen is eagerly anticipating the next edition of the London ABBYY AI Summit, which will return to Emirates Stadium in London this year. “It’s a unique venue, and it offers our customers an engaging event experience,” she says. “We’re also expanding the summit to new locations, including Vienna, Austria, and Austin, Texas, USA, which will create more opportunities for global collaboration and knowledge sharing.”
For Jen, the AI Summit is a perfect blend of her passions and expertise. “I enjoy working on event logistics—it’s rewarding to see everything come together and create memorable experiences for attendees,” she explains. “Being able to bring the ABBYY brand to life in dynamic locations and showcase our innovative AI solutions is something I truly look forward to.”

Since joining ABBYY, Jen’s role has significantly shaped her professional growth. “I’ve deepened my understanding of AI and expanded my event management and sponsorship expertise, especially on a global scale,” she says.
Over the past year, Jen has honed key skills like project management, marketing strategy, and cross-functional collaboration. “Organizing large-scale events and coordinating with different teams has sharpened my logistical and strategic thinking abilities,” she notes. “ABBYY’s supportive culture has been instrumental in my growth. The team’s openness and encouragement have allowed me to take on challenging projects and learn from experienced colleagues.”
In the coming year, Jen is excited about expanding the ABBYY AI Summits to new cities, including Vienna and Austin. “These events will create fresh opportunities for global engagement and collaboration,” she says. “Elevating the ABBYY brand globally is a key goal, and I look forward to building strong relationships with partners and customers at events like the AI Summit.”
Jen also plans to leverage her event management experience and global partnership expertise to drive ABBYY’s growth. “By executing impactful events and refining our marketing strategies, I aim to further elevate the ABBYY brand and expand its presence in new markets,” she shares. “My past experiences in sports sponsorships and logistics will help me deliver meaningful, strategic results for ABBYY.”

As we look ahead to the 2025 ABBYY AI Summit Series and beyond, we’re excited to see how Jen’s creativity and expertise will continue to shape the future of ABBYY.
