ABBYY USA Expands Executive Team With Appointment of Two New Vice Presidents
ABBYY Names New Vice President of Product Management and Marketing and Vice President of Client Services to Expand Executive Leadership Team
ABBYY® USA, a leading global provider of document recognition, data capture, and linguistic technologies and professional services, today announced the appointment of David Bayer as vice president of product management and marketing for Information Governance and Simon Jones as vice president of client services. The new executives augment ABBYY USA’s leadership team which is continuing to expand to drive revenue and market share growth via a breadth of technology and services offerings.

Bayer has held senior leadership positions at Symantec, Hewlett Packard’s Autonomy division, Iron Mountain and Stratify. In his new role, Bayer will be responsible for collaborating with the company’s global team driving product roadmaps, as well as creating effective marketing programs in North America, Japan, and Taiwan.

With more than 20 years of professional experience, including the last two years as ABBYY USA’s director of client services, Simon Jones joins the executive team to establish new service offerings and enhance customer experience in North America, Japan and Taiwan. Jones has created and managed successful Client Services and Operations teams at global organizations, including Rimmel International (Unilever), MSAS Cargo (now DHL) and International Asset Systems.
