ABBYY immediately began closing its operations in Russia upon the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russia. All sales, development, and provision of services in Russia and Belarus were stopped. As a final step, ABBYY’s former Russian legal entities are now liquidated.

ABBYY believes that coordinated inter-governmental sanctions offer a credible way to help end the Russo-Ukrainian war, and ABBYY has complied with international sanctions and export regulations without exception.

As a matter of policy, ABBYY does not use any resources (e.g., servers, equipment, vendors) nor employs personnel located in Russia or Belarus. Furthermore, ABBYY is not associated with any Russian-based companies.

ABBYY is a privately owned US-based independent software vendor. Marlin Equity Partners is the controlling shareholder of ABBYY.

ABBYY has offices in 13 countries around the globe, including the United States, Germany, United Kingdom, France, Spain, Cyprus, Serbia, Ukraine, India, Singapore, Hungary, Australia, and Japan.
