ABBYY Business Card Reader for iPhone Brings New Interface with Support for Portuguese

ABBYY Business Card Reader 4.5, the next version of the business card reading and contact managing application for the Apple® iPhone® offers a new interface for even easier and more enjoyable work with business contacts. Now to use contact data directly from a business card image in the CardHolder archive (e.g. make calls, compose emails and text messages, look up street addresses or follow Web links), the iPhone users can simply tap the buttons designed for each action. The list of user-friendly search options in the CardHolder now includes a postal address and a city name.
ABBYY Business Card Reader for iPhone supports 7 interface languages with newly added Portuguese. In addition, the visual display of recognition process has become more “stealth” with the countdown timer, which appeared before taking a photo, now removed. Starting from this version, the iPhone 3G is no longer supported.
