ABBYY USA Honored in the 2011 Mobile Star Awards™

ABBYY®, a leading provider of document recognition, document capture, and linguistic technologies and professional services, is pleased to announce that ABBYY TextGrabber for iPhone and ABBYY Mobile Data Capture Solution have been named as winners in the tenth annual Mobile Star Awards™ program, hosted by the mobile technology news and events site MobileVillage.com.
ABBYY was recognized in the following categories:
- TextGrabber for iPhone, an application that easily extracts text from a variety of printed sources by using the device’s camera, won the SuperStar Award in the Consumer App: Information or File Management category.
- Mobile Data Capture Solution, which turns camera-equipped mobile devices into a powerful entry point for data input, won the Shining Star Award in the Enterprise Software: Data Capture category
