Tell us about your experience with IDP and AI, and about your current project?
My experience is extensive with intelligent document processing (IDP) and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. I have been working in this field for several years and have worked on various projects that involve implementing these technologies in real-world scenarios.
Currently, I am working on leveraging ABBYY Vantage, an IDP solution, and ChatGPT, an AI model, together. The goal of this project is to demonstrate how the combination of these two technologies can help organizations automate document-based processes while also improving customer experiences.
Through this, I have gained a deep understanding of the capabilities of ABBYY Vantage and ChatGPT, as well as the challenges and opportunities that arise when integrating these technologies. I am excited about the potential that this integration has for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of various business processes.
Can you explain how to use ChatGPT, and how you use ABBYY Vantage? What documents do you process?
Many people think ChatGPT is the same thing as optical character recognition (OCR), but in reality, it is a natural language processing (NLP) model that uses deep learning algorithms to generate human-like text responses to user queries. ABBYY Vantage, on the other hand, is an IDP solution that uses optical character recognition (OCR) technology to extract data from various types of documents, including invoices, purchase orders, contracts, and more.
I use ABBYY Vantage to extract data from invoices, purchase orders, contracts, etc. In this project, I used Vantage for data extraction that is then fed into ChatGPT, which is trained to respond to user queries related to the extracted data. For example, a user may ask a question about a particular clause in the contract. ChatGPT is able to understand the user's query and provide a relevant and accurate response.
The use of ChatGPT provides amazing capabilities, which can help improve customer experience by reducing wait times and providing quick and accurate responses to customer queries. Additionally, by using ABBYY Vantage to automate the document processing step, we can improve the speed and accuracy of the whole process, which can help reduce errors and improve efficiency.

What are the benefits of using ChatGPT in Vantage?

There is limitation in terms of Interpretability. ChatGPT is a black-box model, which means that it can be difficult to understand how it is making decisions or to identify and correct errors. This can be a concern in industries where the accuracy and transparency of the IDP system are critical. Also, data quality and quantity could be a potential challenge. ChatGPT requires a large amount of high-quality training data in order to perform well. If the IDP system does not have access to sufficient training data or if the data is of low quality, the performance of the ChatGPT model may be limited.
These limitations and considerations should be carefully evaluated before integrating ChatGPT or any other AI technology into an IDP system. However, when implemented carefully and thoughtfully, ChatGPT can be a powerful tool for improving the accuracy and efficiency of document processing.
