Alex Beregovsky
Board Director
Mr. Beregovsky is a Managing Director and member of the flagship fund Investment Committee. His primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at Vector Capital, where he focused on identifying and executing investments across the software, internet and tech-enabled services sectors.
Prior thereto, Mr. Beregovsky was an investment professional at Viking Global Investors, a long/short equity fund, and previous to that, at Francisco Partners, where he specialized in technology buyouts. He began his career as a quantitative consultant at Goldman Sachs and an investment banker at Banc of America Securities in the Financial Institutions Group. Mr. Beregovsky earned an M.B.A from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar and a B.A. in mathematics, economics and computer science from New York University, where he graduated summa cum laude.
