Gina Ray heads corporate marketing for ABBYY. She has extensive experience leading award-winning communications programs for Fortune 500, mid-size, and start-up companies. At ABBYY, Ray leads a global team focused on results-driven programs in the US, UK, Germany, France, and the APAC region. By integrating communications uniting public relations, social media, digital marketing, and creative services, Ray leverages the power of thought leadership and proven outcomes to increase ABBYY’s brand awareness and communicate its purpose for delivering purpose-built AI to the agentic automation market.

Prior to joining ABBYY as head of global PR in 2020, Ray owned a boutique public relations agency for 15 years and won numerous awards for programs that demonstrated measurable impact. She believes thought leadership is a strategic initiative that requires concise messaging that focuses on customers’ needs to increase brand awareness, competitive advantage and impact to the bottom line.

Ray has an accreditation in public relations (APR) from the Public Relations Society of America, a certification that demonstrates advanced PR and communications skills that deliver value in organizations. She is also the 2026 President-elect for the Orange County Public Relations Society of America.
