ABBYY PDF Transformer+ Now with New Enhancements

ABBYY®, a leading provider of document recognition, data capture and linguistic technologies and services, today announced the release of an enhanced version of ABBYY PDF Transformer+, a versatile software tool for easy editing and work with PDF documents. The update delivers three major usability improvements. They include:

 

  • Up to Three Times Faster* Printing — a significantly improved printing function provides additional   options for page setup and scaling when printing multi-page PDF files while also delivering  faster printing speeds to better meet the requirements of a modern office. The updated ABBYY PDF Transformer+ also delivers up to 30 percent* faster application start.

 

  • Improved Reading and Navigation across Multi-Page PDFs — ABBYY PDF Transformer+ now allows users to create and edit bookmarks for easy navigation through documents. Two new viewing modes for Two-Page and Full Screen viewing and a new compact icon toolbar make reading PDF documents easier.

 

  • Enhanced Editing of Tables and Spreadsheets — for greater flexibility when working with financial documents, new functions allow users to manually change and correct table separators and cells when extracting the selected table from a PDF file. Adjusted tables can be easily inserted (pasted) into Microsoft® Office documents for further re-use.

 

ABBYY PDF Transformer+ offers a full set of functions for efficient work throughout the entire lifecycle of a PDF document including intuitive tools for viewing and editing content, commenting and collaboration on documents, powerful full-text search, and easy creation, conversion and protection of PDF files. Designed as a simple and affordable solution for daily work with PDFs, it gives customers true control over the content of a PDF document including its text, images, tables, and hyperlinks.
