ABBYY FineReader Engine Selected for Ricoh’s Award-Winning DocumentMall

ABBYY OCR SDK Powers Ricoh’s Document Management Solution
ABBYY, a leading provider of recognition, data capture and linguistic technologies, announced that its preeminent FineReader™ Engine was selected for use in Ricoh’s award-winning DocumentMall document management system.
DocumentMall, introduced in 2003, provides businesses with a powerful service delivered via the Internet for document management and document sharing. DocumentMall received the prestigious BERTL’s Best Award for Innovation.
Ricoh sought an OCR engine to provide full-text indexing capabilities for DocumentMall. After conducting research through several vendors, Ricoh discovered ABBYY FineReader.
