PC World Magazine Gives ABBYY FineReader 8.0 Its Topmost Rating, Calling FineReader “Versatile, Easy to Use and Highly Accurate”

ABBYY today announced that ABBYY FineReader 8.0 Professional was given PC World's highest rating, a “Superior” distinction with a PC World rating of 93 (out of 100). The Superior rating acknowledges FineReader as a product that is “innovative, easy to use, highly useful” and is “among the very best in its category and is very highly recommended.”

 

PC World reviewed the latest version of ABBYY FineReader in its January 2006 issue, declaring, “If you're looking for a fast, reliable optical character recognition application that can convert a range of paper documents into editable and searchable text, ABBYY's…FineReader 8.0 Professional won't let you down.”
