Over the course of her 30-year career, Aileen Allkins has transformed the customer service and support experience at some of the world’s best-known technology companies. Most recently, she was the Corporate Vice President of Global Customer Service and Support at Microsoft, where she led a diverse and international team of over 25,000 service professionals to provide world-class support for millions of customers.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Aileen led worldwide software support for Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) for over a decade and was responsible for consolidating the customer support experience and growing support revenues to exceed $2bn through increasing customer retention, improving contract renewal rates and expanding upsell opportunities. Before joining HPE, Aileen improved Peregrine Systems’ customer satisfaction by 12%, increased contracts renewals by over 10%, and improved employee engagement levels from the lowest in the company to the highest. 

Aileen’s senior leadership experience spans several mission-critical customer support functions from customer service to technical support across a full range of customers from individual consumers, SMBs, public sector and large enterprises. She is a mentor for early-career women and is actively engaged with the Global Give Back Circle, a non-profit organization that provides mentorship, education and support to young women in Kenya.

In 2019, Aileen was recognized as one of the Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology by the National Diversity Council (USA).
