    ABBYY Business Card Reader allows synchronization function, meaning that the user’s device sends information extracted from business cards to ABBYY’s EU cloud instance. This feature allows users to access the cards from different user devices. If the user does not activate the function, it means that the user does not send the information extracted from business cards to ABBYY, and it is stored in the user’s device.

    ABBYY FineReader PDF Mobile

    ABBYY FineReader PDF Mobile supports optical character recognition (OCR) function both on the device (without sending it somewhere) and using the cloud version of OCR (time-limited access during recognition). In the device recognition scenario, all documents are stored and processed on the device only. At user discretion, FineReader PDF Mobile allows sending data to third-party cloud services where a user has an account (the list of such third-party cloud services is presented in the FineReader PDF Mobile application).

    ABBYY TextGrabber

    ABBYY TextGrabber supports the optical character recognition (OCR) function on the device (without sending it somewhere) and translation function into other languages with the help of integrated translation services provided by ABBYY (Internet connection required). Data will be sent to these translation services only if a user enables such an option. If there is no Internet connection, access to the online translation function is not possible.
